Open Communication

Grace Preschool knows that communication is important for both parents and teachers. Keeping communication lines open ensures a successful and fun year of preschool. Grace Preschool utilizes Brightwheel — an all-in-one childcare app that allows Grace Preschool to send out real time photos and videos, offer direct messaging to and from teachers and administrators, utilize digital check-in and check-out, and accept tuition payments online. You can even invite relatives, nannies, and friends — with control over what they can do and see on Brightwheel.

Additional ways to communicate with Grace Preschool are by email, newsletter, and Facebook.

Developing the whole child

Grace Preschool’s philosophy, guiding principles, and curriculum

Grace Preschool is a a quality early learning environment that is founded on the principle of supporting the needs of the whole child: emotional, social, cognitive, physical and spiritual. We believe that children learn by being active participants; our classroom environment focuses on providing quality, hands-on, creative learning opportunities.

Our philosophy is to help children achieve their highest potential and to bring out their individual talents and gifts. We believe that children need to feel safe, secure and accepted so that they are free to learn and grow. We believe that, as Christ first loved us, we are to love one another. We show that love by welcoming and affirming each child’s unique abilities and interests. We welcome the family as partners in this process and encourage their participation through sharing their interests, talents, and family traditions. Our goal is to provide your child with a balanced early learning experience that fosters curiosity about God’s world and joy in learning.

Our curriculum includes focuses on language and literacy skills, math activities, social studies, dramatic play, art and music, science and sensory exploration, and fine and gross motor activities. These learning experiences are further enhanced with field trips, outdoor play, and chapel talks.
