Preparation for kindergarten
Kindergarten is a big step in each child’s life, and Grace Preschool helps ease that transition by encouraging the development of your child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical abilities.
Motor skill development
Activities throughout the day are geared towards the development of both gross and fine motor skills, as well as coordination and balance.
Faith Based
Grace Preschool is Lakewood’s only faith based Christian preschool. Christian songs and religious education are part of our curriculum, which also includes Wednesday chapel.
Choices create empowerment
At Grace Preschool, each creative activity is an opportunity for your child to embrace a new challenge, as they are guided and encouraged to make choices and begin to develop autonomy. Hands-on learning keeps children engaged as they build upon their creative problem-solving skills.
Language skills are learned together
A child’s vocabulary grows from 900 to 2,500 words between the ages of 3 and 5. At Grace Preschool, activities organically help grow your child’s vocabulary. Through singing, story time, science and exploration activities – or even just a conversation at snack time.
